Grit Blasting Options

Abrasive blasting is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a surface under high pressure to remove surface contaminants and to provide a key for the desired protective coatings. There are several variants of the process, such as bead blasting and shot blasting. Surfaces are blasted to an industry Swedish standard of Sa 2.5 or any required standard.

Steel Grit and Shot Blasting: fast removal of scale and rust from new and used steel gives an ideal key for over coating consistent profile.

Aluminium Oxide Blasting: used for cleaning non-ferrous components e.g. aluminium and stainless steel fast cutting action minimizes damage to thin materials

Glass Bead Blasting: produces clean bright satin finish ideal uniformed finish on stainless steel and aluminium ideal for mould cleaning

Soda Blasting: cleaning of thin gauge materials leaving no profile no detrimental effect on bearings or moving parts
